IT Network & Telecom Engineer

📈 Main Responsibilities

The IT Network & Telecom Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the network and telecommunication infrastructure of the bank. Your role will include:

• Adhering to procedures, standards, and controls to minimize interruptions to business operations related to LAN and WAN networks.

• Performing activities aligned with the capacity planning, proactive maintenance, and performance monitoring of IT infrastructure.

• Implementing and maintaining Network and Telecom Infrastructure systems to ensure consistent service delivery.

• Identifying infrastructure problems, conducting root cause analysis, and applying corrective actions efficiently.

• Reporting pre- and post-implementation status updates to the team leader and head of unit.

• Ensuring compliance with security policies during all administration and troubleshooting tasks.

• Fully documenting all administrative and operational activities, as well as infrastructure changes.

• Managing daily tasks and ensuring they are executed accurately and on time.

🎓 Required Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

• Between 3 to 6 years of experience in IT network and telecom engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of Routing & Switching technologies.

• Experience in Cisco Collaboration technologies is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with load balancer technologies is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of SD (Software-Defined) solutions is beneficial.

• Possession of CCNA or CCNP certifications is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
