Supply Chain and Operation Manager is needed to be hired in a well-known trading company in Maadi
Job duties:
Oversee daily operations and make sure they are carried out in accordance with procedures.
- Everyday oversee and manage maritime freight and in-land/cross-border transportation activities.
- Plan and oversee logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer services strategically.
· Monitor quantity, quality, stock levels, delivery schedules, expenses associated with transportation, and efficiency.
• Create and execute an onboarding procedure and set of requirements for new business partners (inspections, freight forwarders, trucks, customs and clearance, etc.).
- Follow up on the inspection companies of products and ensure all documentations are prepared on-time.

- Examine and update operational procedures in compliance with any new or evolving environmental laws, rules, standards, or policies.
- Form and maintain relationships with new and existing business partners.
- Work out terms and prices with foreign and local business partners, and when necessary, create frame agreements.
- Work closely with Trading, Procurement, and Finance departments to analyze and set operations budget and follow-up to ensure the achievement of budget goals.
Participate in the Odoo ERP system's deployment and make sure that the system appropriately records supply chain activities.
- Compiling and delivering reports to upper management as required.
- Assist Management with planning, budgeting, and mitigating risk.
- Manage all importing and exporting operations.
- Any additional tasks or obligations that are delegated.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- 5:7 years' experience as a supply chain manager preferably in the food/agricultural industry.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing.
- Experience in ocean freight is a must.
- High managerial skills.
