Responsibilities:
1) Developing effective media buying strategies
2) Negotiating ad space and time slots with various media outlets
3) Participating in media planning to identify target audiences and craft effective campaigns
4) Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
5) Compare and negotiate rates, ad space, and airtime
6) Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
7) Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
Experiment with new platforms and channels
9) Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately
10) Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
11) Report to clients and build long-term relationships

Job Requirements:
1) Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
2) Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research
3) Interest in following advertising and media trends
4) Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. comScore)
5) Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6) Organizational and multitasking abilities
7) Attention to detail
Critical thinking skills
8) BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field
